Environmental Policy

STRATTEC is committed to our Environmental Management System which provides for continuous improvement of our organization’s efforts toward the following:

  • Protection of the Environmental, including preventing pollution & other specific commitments relevant to our organization
  • Fulfillment of our compliance obligations
  • Continual improvement of our Environmental Management System to enhance our environmental performance

STRATTEC's EMS was developed and is appropriate to the purpose and context of our organization including the nature, scale and environmental impact to our specific products and services.

The scope of STRATTEC SECURITY CORPORATION’s Environmental Management System (EMS) includes all Associates, contractors, and visitors at the Milwaukee plant, located at 3333 W. Good Hope Rd. Milwaukee, WI 53209. The physical boundaries of the facility consist of approximately 28 acres and building approximately 360,000 square feet which is owned. These physical boundaries are included in the scope of the EMS. The EMS applies to the Stamping, Milling, Die-casting, and Plating of automotive parts, and the maintenance of facilities and equipment.  The EMS program is the framework that assists STRATTEC and its management team in achieving the safety, quality and environmental goals which were determined through consideration of external and internal issues, compliance obligations, and life cycle of products and waste. The authority of STRATTEC to exercise control or influence is considered, when applicable, as a method to control or influence the environmental impact of operations. Achievement of established goals is accomplished through consistent controls and continual improvements of operations.  The elements of the activities, processes, and services further define the scope of the EMS and are maintained.

 

El Paso/Mexico Operations

STRATTEC is committed to our Safety, Health and Environmental Management System (EMS), which provides for continuous improvement of our organization's efforts towards the following:

  • Elimination of hazards, reduction of risks and environmental espects and impacts
  • Comply with laws and regulations of safety, health and enviorment as well as with the policies and requirements of our clients
  • Training, accident prevention and environmental pollution
  • The NO participation in drug trafficking, consumption of narcotic drugs and terrorist acts
  • Promote the participation and consultation of workers and their Representatives

The Safety, Health and Environmental Management System of STRATTEC were developed and maintained according to the nature of our activities, products, processes and services.
